You need to set it to the root folder of the Android SDK, /Users/cheunglik/Library/Android, not /users/cheunglik/library/Android/tools/bin.@LUTAAYAHUZAIFAHIDRIS.1557 said:
Me too am facing the same problemPerhaps the above will help? Just get the Android SDK, unzip it, and point Visual Studio to the root folder of the Android SDK.Why can’t I find my USB drive in Rufus? For many who are dealing with an error while trying to use their USB flash drives should download the latest version of Rufus and enable the List USB Hard Drives option in the advanced options panel. Unetbootin for mac makes a usb bootable. However, people who want to discredit our work reported it to windows 10 defenders which transform results in false positives. Moreover, remember that Rufus doesn’t support non-flash drives. Download Rufus 3.1 with new timestamps to fix it. Windows 10 reports that Download Rufus ISO to Bootable USB Windows Includes Virus and malware.Rufus is trusted and totally free from viruses. Also you an try using the universal installer for Visual Studio for Mac which should install the Android SDK if it is not found. You can get that here: https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/visual-studio-mac/ - edited October 2017I did have a problem with the Android manager not recognizing the sdk location. Turns out that Android studio also complained when I tried to run a test project. It gave me the error message of 'Unable to locate adb'. It looks like something with my sdk installation got messed up.As a verification tool, I recommend others try loading Android Studio with the same settings as Visual studio to help debug things.
